These animals including the livestock (fish, cow, goat, sheep, goose) and the beneficial insects. Most herbicides are specifically plant poisons, and they are not very toxic to animals but they will still have effect on the animal’s health and can be severe for some species. Any living things need water for their lives and if the water sources are polluted, then all the living things that consumed water from that area will be at risk. For instance, the livestock such as cow and goat are usually being let go to the plantation field to get their food and they are eating grasses as their food and once the grasses was just been applied herbicide an hour ago, what will happen to their health? When herbicides are used properly, poisoning problems in animals are rare. With few exceptions, it is only when animals gain direct access to the product that acute poisoning occurs. Acute signs usually will not lead to a diagnosis. All common differential diagnoses should be excluded in animals showing signs of a sudden onset of disease or sudden death. The case history is critical. Sickness after feeding, spraying of pastures or crops adjacent to pastures, a change in housing, or direct exposure may lead to a tentative diagnosis of herbicide poisoning. As chemicals contaminate groundwater, fish may suffer from toxins along with birds that consume those fish species. Chemical drift through the air also harms beneficial insects, such as bees, that contribute to pollination and high fruit yields. To avoid chemical drift that harms beneficial organisms, adjust your spray nozzle to emit larger droplets. Spray close to the offending plant to keep the large drops on the targeted site. Fine sprays are caught by winds too easily and harm surrounding
