The gods of Greece were very important and plentiful, but these gods are not like the god all Christians worship. Greeks do not really even worship them, they ask them things, thank them, plead with them, and they can even bribe them. While there are temples, the place they talk to the gods at are shrines. All they have to do is bring offerings and go to the specified altar of the god they want. Most people just choose one aspect of the god. There are twelve main gods, who are called Olympians. Zeus the father of some of the Olympians and gods. He is also the god of thunder and lightning, as well as the sky. Aphrodite is the goddess of love and beauty. Demeter is the Farm goddess.
