Tanner St. Pierre Mythology Paper God: Hades 1/20/15 Hades Hades known as the Greek god of the underworld has many other meanings in this world. From the range of video games, movies, books, and even in other cultures. I will be explaining how Hades is first viewed in the Greek mythology, how he is viewed in the Bible as a figure of Paradise, how he is used in common talk among golfer professionals and other everyday life, and how he is referred to as the God Pluto. Through research I have found many facts about the God Hades. Not only is he the God of the God of the Underworld, but he is also the God of Thought and Keeper of all the Hidden things. When he is described as the God of Thought he is portrayed of someone who sits on a Throne of Panic, who also brings Faith, Relief and Calm in the world. When he is described as the God of Keeper of all things Hidden, Hades knows what causes Fear, Pain and Panic wherever he goes. Hades also knows that everything that can be known,…show more content…

Another way Hades is viewed is as the Latin word Pluto which is actually the same name as one of our Planets in our solar system.
