There is an important difference of evidence between the two, Source A focuses on the overall idea of equality for the common man and Source B focuses on painting Jackson as a common man to win the election. Both stress the importance of a government that is by the people and for the people. Source A says that the government needs reform because of how it abuses the common man, and Source B promises that Jackson ruling will not result in Reign of Terror. The election of 1828 was a major win for Jackson because of these ideals he starts the democrat party and begins the era of the common man. The working man’s party was established in 1829 after Jackson took office and focused on issues like universal suffrage and public education. Source A
