Fair is a four letter word that can be used as an adjective, adverb, noun, and verb. The definition of fair is “in accordance with the rules or standards; legitimate”. Now, if you asked yourself, “Is life fair? And can I or laws make life fair?” What would your answer be? There are many views about this; however, my perspective is that, no, life is not fair. There are different ways to try and stop un-fairness, but in reality it can never be stopped for everyone. Some may say “all we have to do is set more laws,”, and yes, laws can fix some things, but how can a law fix an older sibling getting more things than their younger sibling, or being born into a poor family? They can’t. People can’t change fate. Nobody controls their lives
