Courage Definition Essay

191 Words1 Page
Courage is something that not everyone has, it’s people standing up for what they believe in. It’s someone admitting they’re wrong when they think they’re right. A picture of courage is the first responders that ran into the buildings on September 11, 2001. The nerd that stands up to the bully has courage. Or the cowboy who gets back on the bull over and over again. It smells like the clear, fresh, strong winds on the top of the mountains. It tastes like blood from biting one’s lip to stay silent but finally speaking out, and sounds as if people are whispering behind them for standing out. Courage is difficult to find in people now days, they care too much about being popular and are scared to ruin their “image” around school or in the workplace.
