Well, If you enjoy doing hair,nails, and makeup then you should think about Cosmetology.Cosmetology is a career based on hair, skin, nails , and makeup. Everyone style is different you will have your chance to show your creativity and you will also get a chance to work with different people even celebrities. Cosmetology is a fun experience and is also flexible to your schedule. Skills required for this field are Creativity, Customer Service , Technical Skills, Stamina,Sales and marketing skills, Business skills and most importantly training. You must also pass a written and a practical exam before being distribute your license. You must also have the minimum of 1500 hours. Everyone loves making their own money . Right ? Do you know how much a cosmetologist gets paid. Of course the pay will vary depending on the style you're giving the customer and the location but the pay varies from $17,000 up to $42,000. Working in a hair salon gives great pay when you're working with hundreds and hundreds of customers a week. A simple haircut is about $15 a customer, roller set is about $20 , Hair coloring is about $50 and a relaxer is about $45 . Having many customers a day is a great deal and a very easy job. Hairstyles are used to express yourself. Although people have different hairstyles, there is always a common trend or style that people want. Over time trends and styles change. Also, different hair styling and cutting techniques are used depending on the style. There have been many trends in hairstyles from the 1980s to the present. Hairstyles in the 1980s included the mullet, tall Mohawks,Flattops and hi top fades (especially for black men) Amongst women, large hair-dos, puffed-up styles, permanent waves, and softer cuts typified the decade volume.
