Brave, strong, and courageous are some ways you could describe Anne Frank. Anne was a typical thirteen year old girl, she played with friends, had a diary, she attended school, and she had dreams to become a writer. But that all changed in the Holocaust. The Holocaust changed her life, luckily Anne kept a diary to record her life. Anne was Jewish so she was captured by the Nazi’s. Anne Frank didn’t get to live her life to the fullest. The reason why we know about Anne today is because of her diary. Anne Frank was a wonderful girl. It would be nice if she was here today so she could share her story. She is a survivor because she went through so much. Anne deserved so much better. She had to live most of her life in fear. She also had to hide most of her life. Anne was among many of the innocent Jews who died in World War II. She was too young to die. She should have been able to live her life to the fullest but her life was snatched away by the Nazis’s. Anne never gave up to the end. In her diary, Anne has shown millions of people what it is like to go through the concentration camps. Anne Frank shows people how to be fearless, strong, brave, and determined. Anne remained strong and sure that she would one day return home. A debt that we will never be able to repay her is the debt of thanking her for all that she did. Anne helped us think about what The Jews went through and what if that happened to us. The Holocaust turned Anne Frank’s life upside down, but Anne wrote a diary to keep track of all of the events that happened in her life so we know her because of her diary. Anne Frank is a hero.
