Affordable Healthcare was act enacted March 23, 2010. This new law allowed everyone to have a fair access to quality healthcare. Under ACA act health insurance companies had to comply with new standards and offer the same rates regardless of pre-existing health conditions. Implementation of ACA has dramatically increased the number of patient visits to doctors, which in turn lead to a new problem of primary care provider shortages. This issue could be resolved if we only consult with doctors for serious healthcare problems instead of everyday sickness such as cold & cough.
