Why I Chose America

Moving in another country is always hard. No one wants to leave his family and his friends, especially when you have my age. The question the most of the people ask me is why I chose America; The biggest part of teenagers, in Italy, dreams about living in America, and I was in that group. I’ve always been curious of american lifestyle, because I’ve always watched american movies and tv series, that made me everyday more curious and interested in this country. On August 10th my dream became true, now I’m in USA since two months and I still can’t believe how much my life changed. Here is all different from Italy: houses, street, school, and people’s way of thinking. Here you can be what you wanna be, they don’t care, all people are polite and respectful anyway. I think that this experience will help me to grow up and to achieve all my goals, but- of course- sometimes is difficult stay here.Every exchange student knows that feeling when you end a call with your natural family or with your friends.…show more content…
For an american person, maybe, it’s a normal school, but for me is incredible. I love everything of this school: the classes, the cafeteria, the gym, the football field. Teachers are really polite and they always try to help you when you need help, they also try to teach something by having fun, and I absolutely love this. In Italy we have a different system for learning at school: we don’t use computers in classes, we don’t go to the lab during chemistry or physic and we don’t really have fun. So I can say that italian school is more boring that american school and more difficult. Here in American schools sport is very important, all american enjoy play or watch a game and I’m happy about this, because I love playing some sport, like volleyball, that is the sport that I actually play here, and I like cheering every Friday night, with my friends in the student section, for the football game, that seems to be really important for students and
