American dream, the dream that combine the million immigrants’ and poor lower-class people’s hope, and make them pay a lot of perspiration for it. However, they didn't get the wealth and happiness, what their American dream tell them that they will get from America. Langston Hughes, a American poet, express In his poem, “Let America be America Again” and narrates America dream and freedom did not ever real achieved for lower-class American and poor immigrants. Began 1620, the first group of immigrants from England chose to survive on this land and new immigrants begin to drive away the Native Americans from their lands. For example, in the sixth section of the poem, the speaker says, “I am the poor white, fooled and pushed apart,I am the Negro bearing slavery's scars. I am the red man driven from the land, I am the immigrant clutching the hope I seek — And finding only the same old stupid plan.”This quotation sum the darkest and unequal times of America in proper order.
