Every man, regardless of his class distinction, cuts a dashing figure wearing the quintessential garment in menswear – the tuxedo. Although society has jocularly christened the elegant suit with monikers such as “monkey or penguin suit,” the tuxedo has long been, and remains to be the ultimate in formal men's attire. Interestingly enough, the distinguished suit derived its name from a region in New York state,which was as formidable and fashionable as the namesake garment. In the late 19th century, wealthy tobacco merchant, Pierre Lorillard, settled his family in the exclusive residential community of Tuxedo Park, New York.
