Management Plan The Antioch College Wellness Center is highly staffed with the most qualified Yoga Teacher Training Instructor. Monica Hasek is the Director of the Wellness Center and will be the running the program. Additionally, the program includes anatomy training with a national teacher and guest instructors. Meet the Staff Monica Hasek, Director of the Wellness Center Monica Hasek, a native Daytonian, has worked as an interior designer and project manager for architectural firms, health care institutions and higher education facilities in Portland, Oregon, Anchorage, Alaska and Dayton, Ohio. She has developed and implemented yoga and wellness programs for businesses, non-profits and organizations such as the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE), Wittenberg University, Green Memorial Hospital, Antioch University, Antioch College, and Research Park in Beavercreek. Recently, she helped launch a program with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (Dayton VA Medical Center) that will utilize yoga to reduce the effects of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).…show more content…
In an effort to fill the need for highly-qualified, well-trained and health-conscious teachers in this region, she developed a 200-hour Registered Yoga School in accordance with the National Yoga Alliance, and has graduated forty students from the program since 2010. In 2012 she expanded her business vision to downtown Springfield, Ohio where yoga continues to be taught in a safe and supportive environment. Monica’s professional mission of expanding opportunities for health and wellness continues at Antioch College.
