“How can something ending be so beautiful” Taylor Young. You might wonder how people overcome hardship, well there is no secret they are just willing to give it all they got in order to succeed and so am I. I am roughly 55% German and have a type INFJ personality. I have learned a lot about my life and history and want to share it with you. My life began in Jennie Edmundson hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa. When I was born on March 9, 2001 I was three and a half weeks early at six pounds thirteen ounces. Within my first week of life I was back in the hospital because I had lost one pound. When I was back in the hospital the doctor said that I had jaundice, which is a high count of red blood cells at birth causing yellowing to skin and eyes.…show more content…
My teacher was Miss Cheryl and I still see her and talk to her every now and then. When I was five years old my family and I went to the Rainy River for two nights. We camped at Franz Jevne, Minnesota’s smallest state park; it is located along the border of Minnesota and Canada. On this trip I caught a 16 inch small mouth bass with, it still is the largest bass I have ever caught. In 2008 when I was 7 years old my family and I took a trip to Alaska. On the way there we had a short layover in San Francisco, California. We could see the Golden Gate Bridge from the airplane window and it was very cool. When we got to the airport in Anchorage our friend, Kristi, picked us up and took us to a car rental place. After we got our rental car we drove to Kristi’s house in Eagle River, Alaska. We spent the night at Kristi’s house, and then the next day we really started our adventure. We drove to the Homer Spit and visited friends, the Beck’s, who also lived out in the Bush with us. Also while in Homer we did some salmon fishing, we fished the tides. We went on a cruise where we saw both kinds of puffins, Orca whales, sea lions, and porpoises. On the flight back to Minnesota we had an eight hour layover in Denver, Colorado. We slept at the airport and I got really bored. In that same year our dog, Jewel, had 14 puppies. I have continued to be involved in all of these sports every year since. This was also the same year that I first rifle hunted in Northern Minnesota, I however did not get a deer. But I still continued to hunt in following years. Also in sixth grade we went on a class trip to the Capitol of Minnesota and we went to the Science museum on the same day. When I was twelve and in seventh grade I lettered in track and this was a big deal to me, well it still is. I lettered for doing the 300 meter and 100 meter hurdles at a certain number of varsity meets. Also I bow hunted for deer for the first time when I was twelve years old. I had still not gotten a deer yet by the end of this season but I had also not given
