Soccer Is Like No Other Sport Soccer has gotten to be one of the most popular sports in the world; whether it is popular in Spain or England, it’s a sport that is played globally. Each and every game is thrilling to watch because anything could happen. There are tons of great players with great talent in the game. They see the game like no other people. Mehdi Benatia has one of the most extraordinary stories of how he got to be one of the best center backs in the world. He was born into an unfortunate family and lived in a awful town (town just beyond the suburbs of Paris). Criminality was high and the only way to stay out of trouble was to play soccer. And that is what he did. He was spotted at age thirteen by talent scouts and was placed in French Football Federation’s school. Mehdi Benatia said that it took him out of the terrible area and it was great for him. Soccer was the only way to get out of the area and that’s what he did. It was a hard area to get out of and he didn’t work hard in school. I believed Soccer has changed his life.
