Millions of American citizens have benefitted from the Obama law also known as Affordable Care Act since it was signed into Law in 2010 by President Barack Obama. The decision by the Supreme Court to uphold the Affordable Care Act ensures that the law shall keeps on expanding access to vital health care services, improving the care quality that the citizens require and controlling the rising costs of health care (Pipes, 2010). Obama care provides much more coverage to a larger proportion of Americans. It is also cost effective for the budget of the United States especially after the recent economic conditions and provides a moral cause through which all American citizens should strive to achieve. Amongst the argument is that the Affordable care is infringing on the United States citizens through forcing them purchase private insurances or health care. However, ObamaCare has taken big strides towards making sure that all the American citizens receive a fair share with regards to their rights to health care (Kohn, 2013).
