02.01. What is Body? There are such a variety of meanings of the Body. Body means a number of things or particulars embodied in a system. Otherwise a great body of facts, a body of laws or of divinity. In scientifically or biologically, the human body is the entire structure of a human being. It is composed of many different types of cells that together create tissues and subsequently organ systems. They ensure homeostasis and viability of human body. It comprises a head, neck, trunk (which includes the thorax and abdomen), arms and hands, legs and feet. What’s important is the connection the actor makes with their spine. In situations when the physical body cannot engage in the activity, or its engagement is limited, the imagination can serve as a tool for physical explorations.
