During the times of the Middle Ages interest in exploration arose in Europe. There were several reasons for this age in Europe some of the more important being the 3 G's – Gold, Glory, and God. Gold and fortune being the most common between Europen Countries. By the 1400's the Europeans were interested in doing trades with Asia because of their goods: silks and various spices were so hard to get with the Ottoamn Turks gauging prices extra high. The also wanted to find silver, gold, and other precious stones as well as expand their knowledge to the world. Spain was motivated by its quest to spread Christianity and find riches.
