Over 950 million Hindus live in India, and another 20 million call Nepal their home. Pakistan and Sri Lanka are home to 2.5 million Hindus each. Bangladesh and Indonesia are home to 14 million and 4 million Hindus respectively. Malaysia, the United States of America and the United Arab Emirates each have a Hindu population over 1 million. Hinduism is one of the oldest known organized religions; its sacred writings date back as far as 1400 to 1500 B.C. It is also one of the most diverse and complex religions, having millions of gods.
