During my freshman year in high school, I was checked out of school on a Friday in the afternoon. Knowing my birthday was next Wednesday, I figured we were going to celebrate my birthday early. I was greatly mistaken as I enter my truck to my father in tears. My father is a very strong man and it was the first time I have ever seen him cry. It was then that I received the terrible news that our very close cousin who was 11 at the time, had been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer that is developed in the arteries. Jayden is a very loved member of our family. She is sweet, innocent, and always has been helpful in any situation. It was very eye opening to find out she had cancer. We drove to Tampa that day to All Children's
