CHAPTER 4 Findings 4.0 Introduction This section highlights the findings of the study. The result was presented according to the research questions which were to explore the experiences, impacts of dysmenorrhea on quality of life and to explore how the students cope with their menstrual pain. Several steps had been used to transcripts data, compare the data and write the findings. This section includes social demographics data of participants, themes were divided into (1) characteristic of pain, (2) effects of pain, and (3) management of dysmenorrhea. Each of the themes consists of a few subthemes. 4.1 Socio-demographic The participants were comprises of students of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. It is included two students from Science Social Faculty (FSS), two students from the Faculty of Engineering (FE) and two students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS). Participants ranged between 19 to 24 years old. Most of the participants were in their final year of their undergraduate programmes. All participants are singles and four participants were Muslim and two were Christian.…show more content…
