Today women have access to over seven different types of birth control methods. It hasn’t always been that easy to obtain birth control. It has been an issue in the United States if birth control should be an option for women. Should women have the ability to control their fertility? This has been an issue in society dating as far back into the 1900’s. There has always been some form of birth prevention prior to the modern methods of birth control. Even though the forms of prevention weren’t as effective as today’s methods they still existed.
