The genocide in Rwanda The genocide in Rwanda was a horrible event, there is no point in stating otherwise. For those less educated in this topic, this mass genocide lasted 100 days from April 7th to mid-July in 1994. I will be discussing the reasons behind this event. INTRODUCTION : The Iraq war also known as the second gulf war began on March 20,2003 led by the united states of America against the Ba'ath party of Saddam Hussein. It launched an invasion against Iraq under the leadership of President George W. Bush without declaring war. The invasion led to defeat of Iraqi army and subsequent occupation of Iraq by overthrowing Saddam Hussein. Later he was captured and executed. She was a Hutu woman who looked Tutsi because her mother was a Tutsi. The Tutsi rebel forces called the RPF (Rwandan Patriotic Front) was attacking areas in Rwanda because of the oppressing the Tutsis people were receive from the Rwandan government that was mainly Hutus. Due to this, Umutesi fled the forces and left her
