Asda’s aims are to sell stuff and get profit from the sale other aims are to bring more customers in the store by having great offers that attract customers attention. ASDA objectives are to ensure a positive outcome every month when a mystery shoppers visit each store to check how good the service is and to insure that they only select staff that will not discriminate against other staff or customers on the ground of race, disability, gender or age. Asda is a tertiary sector that receives goods from secondary sectors for them to sell on to their customers. All the Asda stores are owned by Wal-Mart. Asda is also a largest after Tesco which is an international company. Asda is in competition with Sainsbury. Asda’s have some objectives that are to send zero waste to landfill by 2014. They are firmly committed to encouraging their entire customer to move to reusable carrier bags. Asda has a mission statement which is “To be Britain’s best value retailer exceeding customer needs … everyday” they are aiming to fulfill the customer’s needs by providing great customer service, great quality material, and having great valuable prices. Asda also looks towards exceeding customer’s needs this is because they want to have more customers rather than losing customer’s.The business manufactures its own products to attract those customers who wish to buy products on a lower price range. To get all the customers attention, Asda manufacturer their own products and label them as SMART price.
