One of people’s favorite films directed by Tim Burton involves a certain character who is the strangest of all, and an outsider. Burton uses his own style to create this character to make him one of a kind. He even created his character with scissors for hands! Therefore, Burton’s style is dark. His dark style is best portrayed by putting in three simple techniques: Low-key lighting, scary music/sounds, and close-up shots. The first style that makes such a huge impact to create this dark effect, is low-key lighting. This is whenever the lighting in a scene is very dark, and there are a lot of shadows on a scene or on a specific character.
