Many people in America think that blue and white-collar jobs are equal. This is not even close to being true. There is actually little to no equal value in these types of jobs. This is because white-collar jobs are usually less work and pay more. There is also a stereotype that blue-collar jobs are way worse than white-collar jobs which is not true. White-collar jobs will most of the time pay more than blue-collar. Think about the Potato Farmers. They had little food with a raggedy house. But, they did a lot of work to help keep their families healthy and alive. This is some evidence that blue-collar jobs may pay less.
