For years , blue collar jobs have been looked down upon. people who have blue collar jobs are confined to the stereotype of being dim witted or not having an education. Jobs such as hairstyling , trash collecting, mechanics and waitressing have been known to be for drop-outs and people who are going nowhere. But do we really know what goes on in the everyday life of a trash collector? Do we really know all the skills and trades that mechanics use while on the line? Although we have always believed that white collar jobs such as being a doctor or a lawyer are honorable jobs , is there room to believe that being a farmer or being a waitress is just as honorable?
