The atomic bomb being dropped on Japan is a very controversial topic. many people believed it was a harsh decision on the US's part. On the other hand, even more believe it was necessary to do it. Another effect was the recolonization of war. The pros and cons are very high. In my opinion the use of the atomic bomb was necessary for the US to use. The United States along with many other parts of the world were going through World War II, and the bombs are what the Americans hoped would force the Japanese to surrender, in which they did.
