Ralph from the Lord of The Flies, is assigned the role of chief and leader of the kids on the island. As a leader, Ralph wants to give the kids on the island hope that one day they will return home. In order to do this, he guides the kids to live a lifestyle working towards being rescued. He instructs them to build shelters, obtain food, and maintain a signal fire. These are beneficial suggestions for stabilizing the life for the kids, but he doesn’t really enforces it. At the start, he makes sure everything goes well, but as the story progress he loses power. The kids on the island starts to rebel on him and not follow his orders. What Ralph should have done, was made sure everything he asked for was done. Not once in the book did Ralph make
