One of the greatest R&B singers of the decade is Robert Sylvester Kelly, better known as R. Kelly. He was born on January 8, 1967 in Chicago. His “gospel-tinged” vocals and “church-trained” style made him different from other solo artists and made him reached the stardom especially when he released his inspirational ballad “I Believe I Can Fly”, his song won three Grammy Awards. This song was followed by another big hits, such as “You Remind Me of Something” in 1995, “I’m Your Angel” in 1998, a collaboration with Celine Dion, and “Bump N’ Grind” in 2004. It’s noticeable that R. Her fierce side and Queen Bee image are the reasons why some women idolize her, she usually represents women as a strong yet fashionable creature.
