Including but not limited to children, football players, and to people who overcome many challenges. A child with a gifted family to arguably the greatest quarterback ever. A man who wants to be challenged, a man who has been challenged has overcome many obstacles and persevered through many of them. So I would strongly disagree with someone who said he is not an inspiration. Peyton’s childhood was very blessed in many ways blessed with two other brothers, blessed with a father in the NFL the list can go on and on. There Manning set 42 conference, school, and NCAA records. He passed for 11,201 yards, registered 863 completions, and had 89 touchdowns in all. Part of his success was that he was devoted student if the game, studying game film to analyze his opponents. In 1998 the struggling Indianapolis Colts picked Peyton as the first overall draft pick. To Indianapolis Manning was the man to pull them out of that hole. His first year however was how do you say, not that great. Peyton threw a NFL record 326 completions, 575 attempts, 3,379 passing yards, and 26 touchdown passes. However he also threw a NFL-leading 28 interceptions and finished with a 3-13 record. However those hard luck times soon became gone. Over the next 13 years the Colts became one of the best teams in the league and normally contending for the top record in the NFL. Along with that time Peyton won a record four MVP awards. He also became the fastest person to pass for 50,000 career yards and 4,000 completions. Critics of Manning said that he couldn't win the Super Bowl. However in 2007 he toppled his rival the New England Patriots and Tom Brady in the AFC title game. After that they went on to beat the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI, Peyton who passed for 247 yards was named that games
