Good morning fam. I love y'all. So, last night I drove the entire way home from Pegram, TN, on the back roads. No interstates. Saw the sun set over corn and tobacco fields. Enjoyed the apricots and violets of the sky in my review mirror. Paused at historic markers. Watched cows graze and a couple of donkeys getting it on. Played chicken with some opossums, frogs, and what I'm pretty sure was a teeny tiny mouse. Drove past a plantation and confederate cemetery. Raced a pack of dogs down a gravel road. Saw the majesty and reveled in the constant sound and expressions of life in the darkness of gigantic mountains. Saw that epic moon flirt with me, peaking in and out of the clouds.
