Imagine that you are taking a bite into a wonderfully delicious sandwhich made of high quality bread and good smoked turkey slices. Then imagine biting into a terrible tasting dry sandwich, one that sticks to your throat as you regretfully swallow it. I think everybody can agree that the school food, in most cases, is very bad tasting and can be unhealthy. My response to this problem is open campus lunches. Open campus provide many things that you just can’t get at school. Some include, but are not limited to, healthier food choices, better food choices, a chance to just relax and gather your thoughts on the upcoming class. A problem with the open campus lunch is that people can get into accidents by reckless driving. Although this is true, I believe that open campus lunches should be allowed and even encouraged for all high school students.…show more content…
For example instead of eating chicken fried steak, or a honey bun you could go get some subway, panera, or even home-made food. With healthier options some people could learn to eat healthier. Some people may believe that school lunches are healthy, however, most items found in the cafeteria arent even real food; the chicken is made of a type of pink gel inserted with chicken flavor, it's not even real chicken. School food may be good in some places but not here, open campus lunches would allow people to go get something healthy home-made even. Another pro to open campus lunches is the time
