New York is a medium sized state in a somewhat triangular shape. New York has many different types of landforms consisting of mountains, valleys, forests, hills, rivers, and it even has access to oceans. New York’s highest mountains are the Adirondacks which are over 5,000 feet tall. They are found in the Northeastern part of the state. These mountains are the highest part of new york, and the lowest part is the Atlantic Ocean at a sea level of 0 ft in elevation.
