A National Honor Society member should be someone every student at Indian Creek High School can look up to. The four pillars of National Honor Society are: character, leadership, scholarship, and service; these should be found in each member. They should demonstrate the pillars of good character at all times. By showing respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, citizenship, and fairness, they can set the right example for others to follow. Giving up personal interests in order to help others is an act of leadership, which members of the Indian Creek’s chapter of National Honor Society should possess. Being a good leader does not always mean being a captain of a sports team or being a class officer. Upperclassmen can demonstrate good leadership
