The National Honor Society has four pillars: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. These pillars have a deeper meaning to it that makes NHS the way it is today. Scholarship is a student’s commitment to learning. This means that a student has to be willing to spend time learning and studying to expand their knowledge. I exhibit this pillar by being diligent in my work and putting the extra effort in all the work that I do. I am committed to my education inside and outside of school.
