1. Autism is a common disability for children population since there has been research that has proved the statistics. Autism has had many misconceptions since some people believe vaccines, poor parenting, and exclusively by environment factors are the causes of autism. When in reality these misconceptions are incorrect because it’s based on faculty thing or understanding. Autism is defined as a developmental disorder that affects the ability to communicate and interact with others. The common symptoms are difficulty with communication, difficulty with social interactions, obsessive interests, and repetitive behaviors. According to “Google”, the types of medications that can be prescribed to reduce symptoms of autism are Risperidone, and Quetiapine (Seroquel). Risperidone treats schizophrenia and certain problems caused by bipolar disorder. Risperidone can be given by the month or it could be injected depending on what the patients prefers. According to the website “Network for Care”, the symptoms and conditions this medication is designed to impact is that “Risperidone is also used in autistic children to treat symptoms of irritability.” Another medication would be Quetiapine (Seroquel), which treats schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression.
