Who would have thought that a man using his volunteering impact to impress women would keep his promise towards children and save them? Yes, Conor Grennan the founder of New Generation Nepal (NGN) and the author of Little Princes did that. How does a man start off as someone who does volunteering hours to look good become someone who goes out of his way to save children and reunite them with their families? Before his trip in Nepal Conor had never had experience with kids. “I have no idea what I was supposed to do once inside! As soon as I closed the gates from Little Princes behind me I had what seemed like tons of kids over me!” said Conor. Other volunteers tried to recomfort him by saying it was normal. “For the first while I did everything wrong. The first time I tried to get involved with the kids was during the recycling activity. Every time I saw children on the street it made me miss the ones at Little Princes even more,” declares Conor. He was 2attached to them and even a year without them did not have made him forget. When he kept his word and came back Conor had a plan in mind. He was not just coming back empty handed. He was aware of what was going on in that part of the world, he would do something about it. Due to the fact that there were so many trafficked children and orphans in Nepal Conor thought that creating an organization of his own would be of help. After trying to find a job in America he realized that that lifestyle is not for him. Therefore, he created New Generation Nepal.
