In conclusion, leadership and teamwork are important in a client centred care. Leadership increases team collaboration to maintain patient’s health. This includes leadership skills which are co-ordination, cooperation and motivating team members that lead towards success (Curtis et al., 2011, p. 306). Therefore, using leadership skills helps team members to work collaboratively. Furthermore, effective teamwork is expressed through health professionals working together to improve patient’s health, and also including the patient during the treatment process (Brault et al., 2014, p. 8).
