In this paragraph of my journal I will be characterizing the Ewells. The Ewell family all lack dignity. This is evident as the kids all skip school. They only show up on the first day as to elude trouble with the law. In my eyes school is the most essential part of a child’s life, and how you preform in school reveals your character. Mr. Ewell lacks dignity because he does not provide for his family. He hunts out of season, and the little cash he does receive fuels his drinking addiction. Many parents cannot adequately provide for their family, but at least they try, unlike Mr. Ewell. Not to mention, they are repulsively dirty.
