It’s like a summary because it's saying nothing can compare to what someone has in their heart and Gatsby has a strong love for Daisy. The Great Gatsby is by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and it is about a man by the name of Jay Gatsby and his strong love for a woman named Daisy Buchanan. Gatsby has been wanting to meet again with his love for five years now. This love for daisy makes Gatsby the man he is. She's the reason for the big house and parties that Gatsby has every weekend. In The Great Gatsby there are many different narrative elements that change each moment and they make it better including flashbacks, great imagery, and symbolism. The Great Gatsby has many details and interesting flashbacks: the whole movie is basically a flashback and at some points it is a flashback inside of a flashback. For one when the movie starts out it is Nick Carraway having a flashback about Gatsby. Some times Nick has to explain parts of his flashbacks about the party’s Gatsby has and who Gatsby was, but he explains it so well you can see the image perfectly in your head. An example of great imagery is when Gatsby tells about how he first met Daisy and how he knew if he kisses her his life would change and so he waits a moment thinking about his love that he would have and do for this girl.
