Buffalo Springfield recorded the song “For What It’s Worth” on December 5, 1966. The song was originally wrote by Stephen Stills and was later released in January of 1967. It was later added to the re-release of their first album, Buffalo Springfield. This song is currently ranked 63 on Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. The song is a great one to listen to understand the past times. The song was written back during the Sunset Strip riots.
