The job of the circulatory system is to transport materials throughout the horse’s body. The circularity system carry’s nutrients, water and oxygen to billions of different cells in the horses body and takes away wastes such as carbon dioxide that body cells produce. There are three major parts of the Circulatory System:
• The Heart
• The Blood
• The Blood Vessels
In the horses body the respiratory system is a chain of organs that take in oxygen and giving out carbon dioxide. The main organs of the respiratory system are the lungs as they are responsible for carrying out this exchange of gases when we breathe. Red blood cells are responsible for collecting the oxygen from the lungs and carry it to the parts of the horse’s body where it is needed.
