A false messiah will arise, but will not fulfill all the “Pre-Return” prophecies. He will appear to usher in world peace and attempt to deceive the world to worship him. He will perform sign and wonders, and those not born of God’s Holy Spirit will follow. Once established, the false messiah will then turn on the world. Jesus warned us of this false messiah, John the Revelator warned us, as did Daniel in Daniel 9:27. Jesus gives warning and instruction in Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14. Another significant point, as well as compelling fact of Jesus being the Messiah, is the Holy Spirit. If Jesus is not the Messiah; how and why are the Christians receiving the “Promise of my Father”? The Holy Spirit was given as promised, post resurrection on the Day of Pentecost as Jesus explained in Luke 24:49. Christians do indeed receive the “Promise of my Father”; this is the His Spirit that sets people free from all types of sinful behavior. Lives are changed every day through His Holy Spirit. My life was changed through His Holy Spirit. I received His Spirit through the Name of Jesus. I seek His Perfect Peace on a daily basis. Jesus did this for me. There is no other name that can reconcile a person to the Father. The Peace of God that passes all understanding, and keeps our hearts and minds, is a gift from God…show more content…
