The concept of God the Universe disagrees with Secular Humanism on specific issues: 1. Regarding: "Secular humanism is nonreligious, espousing no belief in a realm or beings imagined to transcend ordinary experience." I am very religious and strongly believe that God is the Universe. And I pray to it quite often in gratitude for the wonderful things that I have already received, and to ask for more. 2. Regarding: "Naturalism asserts that supernatural entities like God do not exist." To me God the Universe is everything, I (body, soul, etc.) came from it and my physical being shall return to It. To me "salvation" is a ruse for religious leaders and organizations, subconsciously and/or deliberately, to give their followers something to hope…show more content…
Regarding: "Secular humanists see themselves as undesigned, unintended beings who arose through evolution, possessing unique attributes of self-awareness and moral agency." Only relatively recently humans became aware of the evolutionary process. The process itself was designed by God the Universe. There are many processes designed by God that our ignorant and feeble minds need considerable time to discover and understand through the scientific method. It is true secular humanists seek to develop and improve their ethical principles by examining the results they yield in the lives of real men and women." However, I think God will save us if we work hard to understand how the Universe works and use that knowledge to solve problems and save ourselves. So there is no time to waste, stop all the self-destruction that has been going on forever because or despite so many organized religions. We have created many false gods which are mostly distractions, and continue destroying ourselves and our environment seeking money and power for the few. There is no reason for all the worldwide misery being created before our very closed eyes except popular ignorance, self-indulgence, apathy, sloth, greed, and stupidity. We are responsible for it all, not God. We can save ourselves, but first must pray the right prayer and then do what has to be
