It all started in 1946, The Dwarf Grill in Hapeville, Georgia, when Truett Cathy opened his first restaurant. Truett’s original, the Dwarf Grill and after named as Dwarf House, offers a wide menu and provides customers walk up counter service, drive-thru window and a choice of table service. In the metro Atlanta area today, Chick-fil-A Dwarf House restaurants are currently operated. In the early 1960s, Cathy founded Chick-fil-A credited with inventing Chick-fil-A’s boneless breast chicken sandwich and with the opening of the first Chick-fil-A restaurant at a mall in suburban Atlanta in 1967 it pioneered the establishment of restaurants in shopping malls.
