Dancer's Breaks

Many people have things that happen to them and sometimes things happen to people because of what they did.. It's a very confusing concept but basically, when people get injured two things could've happened. One, they could of been fooling around or attempting a dangerous stunt. Or two, the individual could of been doing exactly what they should of been doing and it could have been a complete freak accident. For example, have you ever met people that sprain their ankle by walking down the street? Well, there are some people that these things happen to but guess which one happened to me… If you said number one you are wrong, that would make a horrible story! They explained to me all about the break and what they could do. They said that they called it a dancer’s break because they see it most common in dancers. But, they had no idea that the injury that would take originally four weeks to heal would actually take about six months to heal. I was forced to wear a big black boot for the remainder of the time that my fifth metatarsal took to heal. This made me realize that you can never take anything for granted and live every moment like your last. Also, because of this terrible break and the amount of time that I couldn’t do what I loved which was dance, I was forced to watch and not participate. It was complete torture because everyone else got to do what I loved to do and I had to watch them. Another reason it was torture was because each one of them had no idea what they would feel like to not be able to dance and have everything that you loved ripped out from underneath you. Even though, that was very hard to cope with I would never wish that it didn’t happen to me because it makes me the dancer I am today and without understanding what it would feel like if I couldn’t dance, I would just take dance for granted like I did before my
