Hatchet or “A Cry in the Wild” I believe that Hatchet does a better job of telling the story. I’m certain of this because, “ A Cry in the Wild” makes everything look unrealistic. In Hatchet, Brian didn’t have gum in his pocket, but he did in “A Cry in the Wild.” I mean, how could he get so lucky to have a piece of gum in your pocket?     Hatchet and A Cry in the Wild were both good at telling the story. However, I think the book Hatchet did a better job with the detail of the imagery. Naturally, a movie such as A Cry in the Wild would have better opportunity to show imagery and it does, but Hatchet gave more description. An example is when Brian made his first bow.
