After reviewing the case, I would say that the Carter Brother’s should go ahead and race. This is because, the benefits of winning the race would outweigh the potential risks associated with race. A lot of money is associated with the race, and the only way to recover the money is to go ahead and race. Also, if the Carter brother’s win the race, they will get a Goodstone Tires Sponsorship. Out of the 24 race they competed in, they have successfully completed 15 of them. Therefore, there are higher chances of them to complete this case successfully. Considering the problem with the car and its engine, and not being able to understand the cause of it, this leads to a dilemma whether they should race or not. The team engine mechanic believes
