Everyone has the moment when they can sense when there is a problem with somebody that is really close to them.People hate to see one another with a problem that they can’t fix. Whoever is seeing them always try to help. Sometimes people know that they can’t help, but still comfort them. In a poem I read about an Indian family where the father would go hunt for food and feeling useful goes to buying food and feeling useless. The son can sense that the father is feeling useless. “I remember the silence of his lost power(39).” the son saids. That quote means that the son knows that his dad feels powerless. His dad still brings food, but not like the way he use to. The son can’t do anything to help, but remember what his father did. In a story I read called, “A Visit to Grandmother’s” shows a son how his father’s connection with his family was.”Chig knew something was wrong the instant his father kissed her (183).” That quote means that he sensed that there was a problem with his father and his family.
